Men with long beards are sitting at tables
They'e speaking loud of their own foolish fables
While kids sit near and reach from a far
For the peanuts sitting on the bar
The women with long thinning gray hair
Are telling each other about their chair

The voices in the building make the place seem full
And the people inside make it feel like home
One more brew goes down and a cheer is said
Tonight many men pass the time with one another
The women sit back and relax and have another
As the children sit and try not to bother
